Next Steps Workshop for Incoming Students

Get ready to start your journey at Columbia Basin College!  Join the CBC Outreach Team for a Next Steps Workshop designed to help you complete everything you need to become a student.

We'll assist you with:

• Submitting your CBC application

• Completing Financial Aid (FAFSA/WASFA)

• Navigating the Getting Started Steps

• Taking Placement Tests

• Registering for SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising & Registration)

Once you complete these steps, you'll be eligible to meet with a Completion Coach and register for classes!
 

Need help with Financial Aid?

Please bring the following (if available):

• Your Social Security number or permanent resident number

• 2023 federal income tax return

• W-2 forms or other earnings information

• Information for your parent or guardian
• (Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend with you!
